Hey, Sara here.
Nice to meet you.
A little backstory:
I was a “photographer” since I was a child. I photographed on film and was published at a young age. Although the initial path post school-I went the medical route.
I always did photography throughout my 2 degrees and when I got deep into nursing I was truly reminded how precious and finite life is. Taking pictures freezes a time in life that is never replicated- for that brief moment.. time stands still. I cherish that so deeply. I seek this stillness in everything I do.
My strive for perfectionism limited my drive to initially expand my services to portrait clients as nature doesn’t have that same pressure. Through exploring creativity, trusting my instincts, and being open with my style- I am here for what you want to create.
I look forward to opening our services to workshops soon. Interim please contact me for any questions you have!
Humans / Brands / Projects: I’m here for you.
Sara
Firstly, thank you for being here. I am a photographer who shoots landscapes, outdoor commercial work, and anything that aligns with the outdoors.
I specialize in photographing
wild places + wild people.
Living in Canada I get to enjoy adventures in all seasons: hiking, kayaking, skiing, snorkeling, and a whole lot of general frolicking in nature.
I curate images and stories from passion-driven curiosity, love of photography, and a fascination with all things nature.
I grew up outside. As my 3 year old self said … “its a big beautiful world out there” as I stood there in my princess dress and rain boots.
With an indescribable passion for the outdoors
My style is defined as
wilderness meets stillness.
Serene + Contemplative
It takes a team.
My partner : The rock. The tripod. The wildlife spotter. The portrait entertainment. My teammate.

Although my images are my visions, you will find Randy and I are often working as a team. Whether it’s commercial outdoor projects, a family portrait session, or finding wildlife on a summit.. We both feel our best selves when we can get outside, and we like sharing that with others. Visuals are often combined effort in various ways for the final product you see.
If you have questions, or would like to work together ,I would love to chat further!
