How I got my Top 5 Photos of 2022

Today we're going over my top five favorite images from 2022. It wasreally hard to pick because it was a crazy and full year ! They are not ranked - enjoy!

1: Frozen Enchantment

This one was like a bucket list shot I've been wanting to do it for a couple years it just never lined up and finally got to do it this year. We just lucked out so well with weather and conditions and everything just lined up so perfectly to get this shot ! Yes I was still freezing cold but it was worth it .

2. Depth

This one is so special and it's from Italy the second trip to Italy of 2022 which is just wild. This particular shot was taken with a drone after hiking 20 KM and something about it people ask me like “what is it?” it's just so abstract ! It’s actually a straight top down of a glacier. The colors the shapes the light like everything worked out so perfect for this one so it had to be in the top five.

3. Lucid Dreams

I've been looking to go to this place for so so long it's just perfection and not only was it Perfection but just something about this alignment and the morning was perfect. We had to get up really early and trot over to this spot and something about just like the layers in this shot the composition with the flowers the little Hut and the mountains

I mean couldn't ask for anything better it's so dreamy and pretty.

4.Under the Stars

Makes sense for this title- I literally I mean look at it under the stars! This one was a crazy one to get and not necessarily expected but we had to hike and camp in British Columbia and was like plus 35 and I ended up getting really bad heat stroke and second degree burns but once we settled and everything we went for some nice shooting and just the alignment here with finding this place to sit and the Milky Way was so bright that night! The struggle was worth it for this one.

5. A New Light

Fifth and final one (again not that it's number five or last) is called A New Light. We actually have a video about this specific picture and I'll be sure to link it down below if you want to see it in more detail but this was a hiking mission I knew I wanted to shoot something here wanted something epic and beautiful I mean this was like one of my favorite things that I've ever seen and when we got there again there was a bit

of a hail storm it was a little chaotic but we ended up having the most beautiful conditions just looking at it now that peak of light that came out was absolutely perfect. I feel I captures something better than I could have asked for .. so really fond memories of this place and you know it can be really risky hiking to go and shoot something because you might not get it but this was one of those times where everything worked out.

I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have a favorite one I'd love to know or if you have any questions about any of them just feel free to plot that in the comments and I'm thinking of doing a follow-up video of my top five Astro and Northern Lights shots from 2022 because wow stayed up a lot of nights last year

so let me know if you want to see that and more to come so if you like these
