Tofino.. the little surf town nestled on Vancouver Island. Famous for its surf its beaches, and PNW picture perfect scenery. A place we have been a few times now.. and there is always magic to be discovered there.

This is a photo journey on a day where we started at sunrise - to sunset - to night by simply exploring the beach around us. It shows how the landscape is ever changing , along with perspectives - just with the change in time.

We weren’t expecting the moon to be putting on a show at 0500am, but we are so so grateful for it.

I am obsessed with sunrise. It is quiet - the unknown of the day looms as you take in the sounds that start to trickle in for the day.

It is always in the simple details. After sunrise, the day was spent surfing while the camera took a rest.

The surf slowed itself toward the evening.. but because no one was at the beach we took the opportunity to continue playing. My wetsuit stayed hung while Randy went for a few more waves.

The day turned to sunset turned to night. This beach was so magical.. We just felt like we had to get outside again. We took our fairy lights and went to the beach that was so good to us all day.
